The game has begun! Wow. I've only been playing Survivor games for one year, and already I'm hosting one. Well, cohosting. Annette has far more experience with playing online games, although it's her first hosting game also. I surely hope we can pull this off with as few hiccups as possible...
I was excited to see several confessionals based on the twist of tribes of 3. I wish we could've used the tribes of 2 idea! It was thrown out about a month before the game started because I was afraid that it wouldn't really be called a game of Survivor. With tribes of 2, some tribes would be forced to talk only to one other person until the merge would come. And it's not really social game if you're trying to make an alliance with the only other person on your tribe.
But anywho. It made Annette and I proud to see some "expert" players SHOCKED at the tribes of 3. Shocked! It must mean that this will be an awesome game
It was cool to see some people that came on to the boards within 1 minute after the board was opened. Dedication! That's cool. My biggest fear was that half the cast would be inactives, so if some people made sure to be here at start-time, it means that they're going to be active, and that's good.
The first people that catch my attention are Luke and Tri. Luke was one person that came into the board about 1 minute after the game started. He also had a great reaction to the 3-person twist. It freaked him out so much that he changed his normal strategy and formed an alliance about 15 minutes into the game, haha. He strikes me as a very honest and caring person, which works great with his ladies. I have a feeling both of the women will feel close with him, and if their tribe merges this round or in a later round like Episode 3, they will stick together.
Tri, on the other hand, spends a lot of time analyzing everything to make sure that he has control. He may turn into a control freak or may go on a psychotic rampage in the middle of the game. We'll see.
Now, what I think on each tribe:
I'll do this later. I'm suddenly lazy and don't feel like thinking
